Linh Ly Pham designs user interfaces and interactions to create rich experiences on the web. She currently works as a Senior User Experience Designer at Fotolog.com, one of the world’s largest photoblogging social networks based in New York City. In addition to freelancing, Linh is an adjunct professor at Parsons The New School for Design where she teaches introductory web design classes at the undergraduate and continuing education level.

One of Linh’s interests includes creating user experiences in public space through the use of mobile technology. She has collaborated on the design of several games including Vélocité, consisting of a digital car race involving mobile phones and MMS to encourage networking during the Nokia Game Summit in Monte Carlo, Monaco. She has also worked on SpyText, a player-hunter game based on text messaging to answer location-specific questions in Central park to identify a spy amongst the group. SpyText was accepted into the first annual Come Out and Play Festival in New York City.

In addition to Monaco, she has also worked abroad with Women’sNet, a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Johannesburg, South Africa. During her time there, she played a key role in redesigning the NGO’s logo and website by giving it an updated and fresh look while still retaining the organization’s identity with appeal to its target audience.

Linh’s educational background includes attending Parsons The New School for Design to obtain a MFA in Design and Technology with an emphasis in interaction/interface design and web development. She also holds an undergraduate degree in graphic design and marketing from California State University of Long Beach.
